You can trust God to take care of you no matter what it is!

God has great things in store for you, but He needs your participation. He needs your trust, your confidence in Him even when you’re not sure of what He’s promised or what He’s asked you to do. Trusting God means, you don’t have answers, you don’t have a fallback and you’re not sure what the outcome will be.

Lose a defeatist attitude. You can never win if you start off doubting the possibilities. Chose to believe. When you choose to believe there is a demonstration that follows. Israel was told to possess the land and while they nodded “yes” with their heads, out of their mouth came complaining and excuses. When God rebuked them for their unbelief (demonstrated by their delay in going and their words of doubt), He also canceled His plans to give them the land. They didn’t like that and decided to go on their own, which ended with them running from their enemies like bees. (Deuteronomy 1:34-46)

When you believe, you trust God enough to try even when trying looks like failing. As a Christian, your demonstration of obedience is what it means to trust. When you do, God will not let you fall or be ashamed. “Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, and whose hope is the Lord. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, which spreads out its roots by the river, and will not fear when heat comes; but its leaf will be green, and he will not be anxious in the year of drought, nor will he cease from yielding fruit.” (Jeremiah 17:7-8, NKJ)

You may not understand why you need to tithe, or why you should live holy, or why you should read Ezekiel, or why you should go to church, or why you should help your neighbor, but God knows. Trust Him enough to obey His leading even when you don’t understand.

Trusting and believing is not from the head it’s from the heart. Meaning, ignore the thoughts of doubt and make a decision to believe. Believing comes from the heart.
