ORACLES: Lesson 65

Better yourself! Only you know your shortcomings, only you know what will make you stronger, make you better. You don’t have to settle in places of self-doubt. Rather, confront your insecurities. It may require sacrifice, and you may be shoved out of your comfort zone, or stretched in character but you have to see yourself as worth the effort—even when others don’t.

No one can believe in your dream more than you! No one can stand in your place to pursue what will satisfy and fulfill you. What you say about yourself is what will determine the possibilities for your life. Your voice, your mindset, your heart is the only thing that matters. And you have to assign enough value to yourself that will release you to try. Sure, it’s intimidating and loaded with pressure, but you’re worth it! Beyond your heavenly Father, there is no one more ready for you to believe in yourself.

If it’s higher education that you need, go for it! If it’s counseling, pursue it. If it’s reconciliation with people, make it happen. If it’s reconciliation with God, start it. No matter the next step, it will cost you something, but if you’ll pay now, you can and will benefit later. With the passing of time is opportunity. You can be the same person you are today in five years, or you can set yourself up now to be stronger and better in the same time frame.

Don’t let obstacles stop you. Invest in yourself. Use your strengths to overcome your weakness. Stop running from challenge and meet it with confidence in your ability, and in your heavenly Father, who is always there to endorse, validate, defend and affirm you.

You’re alive, and that’s enough to use every day and every breath to your advantage.
