There is a voice of correction that we all hear. It whispers change and challenges what we justify. It’s easily dismissed by logic or forgotten over time; yet, that voice is heard no matter who we are and no matter how long we’ve been in Christ.
The voice is gentle but absolute, whispering, “Let it go.” “Forgive.” “Stop acting like that.” “You’re wrong.” “Apologize.” “Give.” Depending upon the circumstances our emotions can easily override the directive/correction. I’m writing to validate that voice you hear and encourage you to not just listen, but also heed.
God gives blessings and He also brings correction to our behavior, challenge to our conclusions and change to our mindset. To ignore conviction is to remain the same, and to remain the same means your desired breakthrough is delayed, your impending promotion is denied and your ultimate desire to please God is feign.
Only you know what God is speaking into your heart, but I encourage you to walk in what’s possible for your life by heeding the voice of Holy Spirit today. You will not lose if you value the words of the one who guides you into all Truth. He is your life coach and when He speaks it’s a gently nudge towards the blessing—every time.
